Imphal, March 16: With announcement of its candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election, State Unit BJP has exuded confidence of winning both the Parliamentary seats of the State.

Talking to reporters at the Old Lambulane party office today, a prominent leader of the party said that both State unit president and ex-MP Th Chaoba and D Loli Adanee who would be contesting for the Inner and Outer Parliamentary seats respectively would emerge victorious.

When asked how the party is going to conduct its election campaign in the face of the threat and restriction from an underground organization, he said that the success of the Silent Election Campaign witnessed during Assembly election at Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhatisgarh would be repeated in Manipur too.

The ban in a way would be helping the party in cutting down its expenditure on election campaign, he added, while quoting the maxim �every cloud has a silver lining�.

Arrangements have already been made for conducting silent election campaign at every polling station by prominent local party leaders.

These leaders would be highlighting the performance of the NDA and make the people understand the vision of the BJP to make India an economic super power of the world by 2020, the prominent leader of the party informed.

Claiming that more than half of the election campaigning for the BJP has been over, he said that since day the motor cycle rally organised by the party to kicked off the Atal Sandesh Abhiyan on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhaschandra Bose on January 20 from Imphal to Moirang till today, BJP has been campaigning for the Lok Sabha election.

On the question of consensus candidates for the opposition DPA, the party leader contended why can't the BJP candidates be the consensus candidates of the DPA.

When reminded about the recent statement made by party president and candidature for the Inner seat Th Chaoba wherein he had said that he does not recognize DPA, the party leader maintained that Chaoba had been provoked to make such the statement.

The prominent leader of the party further claimed that as the victory of Th Chaoba for the Inner seat is almost a foregone conclusion, the prospect for winning the Outer seat by D Roli Adanee is also very high.

Adanee comes out from an illustrious family and well known among the people for their social works.

Eldest brother of Adanee, John Kasipui id the first Catholic priest from among the Nagas in Manipur and he would be becoming a Bishop soon.

Besides, DSP of CBI Thomas Lee alias Salu, who has also enacted the role of a villain in 4/5 Hindi films including the blockbuster Kismat is the younger brother of Adanee.

51-year old D Lilo Adanee, who fortuitously arrived at the party office as the meeting with the BJP leader was concluding told reporters that he has entered into politics and is contesting in the election for providing equality in term of development, good governance, transparency, accountability to the people.

He said that he joined BJP in 2002 since he has been aspiring to become MP and work for the people.

Harping on the prospect of BJP in the forthcoming election, Adanee said that BJP would be garnering both the Parliamentary seats.

The people of Manipur have been crying for a change in the society and the new wave of the BJP has finally arrived at Manipur.

If he could be a member of the BJP led NDA Government at the centre which would in power till May, Adanee promises to bring lot of changes and development in Manipur.
