Imphal, March 14: The Assembly today decided to extend the deadline for the report submission of four Assembly committees.

Accordingly the Assembly agreed to extend the time frame for reports of the.

Committee constituted to look into the demands for including Sanamahi religion in the census of India by four months counted from March 18.The Chairman of the Committee is Art and Culture Minister Dr M Nara.

Likewise the report submission on the Lok Ayukta and Up Lok Ayukta Bill, 2002 which was introduced to check corruption has been extended for four months starting from March 30.MAHUD Minister L Nandakumar is the Chairman of the Committee.

The report of the Select Committee with the Chief Minister as the Chairman which was constituted to prepare a report on Manipur Entry Tax Bill, 2002 has also been extended by four months from March 30.The House Committee which was constituted to probe the allegations of fund misuse of DRDA fund in Bishnupur will also submit its report four months hence starting from March 18.
