Radhakanta dispels rumour of his �coma�

Imphal, February 10: Ningthoukhongjam Radhakanta, vice president and spokesman of State NCP Unit as well as party candidate from Uripok AC in the ensuing Assembly election has ridiculed the rumour mongers who spread that he was lying in a state coma to the people of his Constituency.

Talking to media at his Uripok Ningthoukhongjam Leikai residence today, Radhakanta said he was surprised when people came up to him and said that they heard he has been lying in coma and was worried that the election might be postponed while he had gone for election campaigning in and around Nagamapal Singjubung area yesterday.

�Such false rumours are politically motivated�, he said, adding he had never been in coma and he is hearty and strong.

Charging sitting MLA from Uripok AC Nandakumar with misusing the fund from his Local Area Development Fund, Radhakanta said his main attention would be to investigate into such cases of misuse of public fund once he is elected.

He also promised to ensure realisation of all the cherish dreams of the people of the Constituency if he is elected and become an MLA.

Replying to a question on the public demand for removal of AFSPA, Radhakanta said it is also one of his mission to remove the draconian Act from Manipur.
