Imphal, January 21: Manipur People's Party (MPP) has announced the names of some more candidates who will be contesting in the upcoming State Assembly election from the Assembly Constituencies of Bishnupur District, Imphal West and Imphal East District.

The election committee of the party has awarded the party's tickets to H Manisana Singh for Thanga Assembly Constituency in Bishnupur District, O Jugindro Singh for Wangoi Assembly Constituency, S Tiken Singh for Singjamei A/C and S Nabakumar for Konthoujam A/C in Imphal West District.

For the Assembly Constituencies of Khundrakpam and Kshetrigao in Imphal East District, the party tickets have been issued in favour of L Lala Singh and Vivek Raj Wangkhem respectively, according to a statement issued by the convenor of the Election Committee, MPP Oinam Jugindro Singh today.
