Imphal, Aug 20: Stating that the PULF respects all religions and cultures equally and it believes firmly that all true religious activities would bring lasting unity and an egalitarian society in the State, the outfit has condemned the grenade attack of August 16 at ISKCON complex which killed five innocent persons and injured numerous others, said a press release issued by the deputy secretary, publicity cell of the PULF.It termed such violence in a place of worship and at public places an act of cowardice.

Such attack at a place of worship has all the potential to create misunderstanding among different communities, it observed.

The outfit asked all concerned to come out boldly with a detailed clarification on the ghastly attack without delay.
