Imphal, Aug 19: The Students' Federation of India manipur State Committee has called an 'academic strike' on August 21 to protest against the grenade attack during Janmasthami celebration at ISKCON on August 16.The SFI state unit urging authorities of both Govt and private educational institutions to observe the strike call also warned of unwanted consequences in case schools are found open.

The student body also demanded clarification from those involved in the ghastly act besides alleging failure of security apparatus particularly the intelligence agencies of the Govt.
