Imphal, March 19: Rajya Sabha MP Rishang Keishing has rubbished reports that the Congress will not field its own candidate in the Outer seat to leave the turf clear for the NCP.

Talking to Newmai News Network today Rishang Keishing said that the Congress Party would definitely field its candidate in the Outer Seat of Manipur for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The Rajya Sabha MP said that there have been three or four names that have been scrutinised by the Congress leaders and the High Command in New Delhi.

The names that have been placed at the table of the High Command are GAD Minister Francis Ngajokpa, TS Gangte and former Minister Jangngamlung Panmei.
