Imphal, February 04: In connection with the visit of AICC president Sonia Gandhi tomorrow, traffic diversion and regulation would be enforced at the capital city from 12.30 pm till the VVIP leaves Imphal.

According to a statement issued in this connection by SP of Imphal West District Clay Khongsai, all the vehicles coming from Churachandpur and Moirang side towards Imphal will be diverted at Tabungkhong Lamkhai towards Langjing Achouba and proceed towards Lamphel Super Market parking or bus terminus at Khuman Lampak via Tera, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak, Watham Leirak, etc and they will take the same route for their return journey.

All the vehicles coming from Burma-Sugnu Road will be diverted at Singjamei Chinga crossing towards Kwakeithel, Lamphel Super Market parking or bus terminus Khuman Lampak via Pishumthong, Khagempalli, Kwakeithel, Tera Bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak, Watham Leirak, Khongnang Ani Karak, etc and they will take the same route for their return journey.

All vehicles coming from Mayang Imphal Road will be diverted at Khagempalli crossing towards Kwakheithel, Lamphel Super Market Parking or bus terminus Khuman Lampak via Tera Bazar, Naoremthong, Uripok Canteen Leirak, Lamphel Super Market, Watham Leirak, Khongnang Ani karak, etc and they will take the same route for their return journey.

All vehicles coming from Imphal-Dimapur Road will be diverted at Khongnang Ani Karak towards either Lilashing Khongnangkhong to Dingku Road as per their choice and will take the same routes for return journey.

All vehicles coming from Andro, Yairipok, Tinsid Road, Ukhrul and Pangei side will follow the traffic regulation made by the Sr Superintendent of Police, Imphal East District.

All vehicles including buses carrying public for meeting at Hatta Kangjeibung will park at PDA complex Porompat/Bus terminus Khuman Lampak after alighting the public at Andro parking or Wangkhei crossing.
