Chandel, August 01: Enforcing the ANSAM ponsored indefinite economic blockade along the National Highway 39, Naga Students' Union Chandel (NSUC) has warned all the transporters against plying their vehicles along the Pallel-Moreh stretch of the National Highway 39 and said it would start targeting the vehicles plying in defiance of the blockade.

In a statement, the student body informed that it has deployed a number of volunteers to keep a close watch over movement of vehicles along the said stretch of the National Highway and would strike at the vehicles which are plying in violation of the economic blockade with or without security escort, anytime and anywhere.

The statement issued by NSUC general secretary TS Molarshing said that it would be a miscalculation on the part of the State Govt to think that it could always has its way simply by providing security escort to the vehicles.

While dissuading the transporters from taking any risk, the students' body categorically stated that the Govt should be held solely responsible for any eventuality.
