Imphal, September 10, 2009: The state BJP leaders who went to Delhi to meet Central leaders on the law and order situation of the state in the wake of Khwairamband fake encounter incident returned to Imphal today.

The state BJP leaders including its president H Borbabu, ex-CM W Nipamacha and M Bhorot have left Imphal on September 6. They were reported to have met Union Home Minister P Chidambaram on September.

They were said to have pressurised him for the removal of CM O Ibobi from hispost.

The BJP team is meeting the press tomorrow at its office located at Nityapat Chuthek.
