Dimapur, May 21: The Naga public rallies across Nagaland on May 20 appealing for peace and harmony in the State failed to bring any impact as more killings of Tangkhuls by the NSCN-Unification were reported today.

However, the media here in Dimapur could confirm only one case where a Tangkhul businessman was shot dead this afternoon at Supermarket area in Dimapur reportedly by the NSCN-Unification.

Today, the furious NSCN-IM has pledged to hit back the rivals with the same coin.

The NSCN-IM while reacting to the Supermarket killing said that the Nagas' peace rallies across Nagaland State on May 20 and Sumi public meeting at Zunheboto on today gave stronger licence to kill to "Azheto and Mulatuno group" to kill innocent public.

One Tangkhul businessman identified as Johny was shot dead in broad daylight at Supermarket Bazar by NSCN-Unification activists.

Speculations have also been doing the round of attacking a particular community in a separate locality in Dimapur but could not be ascertained till the filing of this story.

Meanwhile, the NSCN-IM said that "Azheto and Mulatuno group" has killed the Tangkhul businessman as part of their genocide operation.

"He is married to one Sumi (Sema) woman.

False followers and preachers of Unification never listen to public appeals.

Their conscience is dictated by satanic forces who are never satisfied in killing innocent public," fumed the NSCN-IM statement tonight and asked, "What was the Zunheboto's Peace Rally signal, the indication is terrifying.

The Naga Army (NSCN-IM's armed wing) is being driven to the point to hit back in the same coin.

There is no choice left now as things have gone too far for the Naga army to bear with".
