Imphal, November 09: Kuki National Front Information and Publicity Issak Kuki has clarified that its cadres were not responsible for the kidnapping of Lungnila Elizabeth from near the Little Flower School on Nov 4.In a statement, Issak Kuki stated that the KNF will never commit such a cowardly act as it is against the interest of the people as well as against the ideology of the revolutionary movement.

Warning all the persons involved in the kidnapping case to abstain from committing similar acts in future, Issak Kuki urged the people to be united and cooperative for a peaceful coexistence.

Meanwhile, Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA) while strongly condemning the kidnapping of GAD and Taxation Minister Francis Ngajokpa's daughter Lungnila Elizabeth on Nov 4 has also clarified that its cadres were not involved in the kidnapping of the young innocent young girl, said a press release.

The release appealed to the kidnappers to release Lungnila immediately and hand over the girl to her family members.
