Imphal, Aug 09: Reacting to the news item which appeared in August 9 issue of this paper under the caption, "Five Naga MLAs back NBSE affiliation," the State unit of the BJP today clarified that two of its MLAs, Danny Shaiza and BD Behring, who were named among the five MLAs acted in their own individual capacity.

In a statement the chairman of the media cell of the State BJP said that the party had nothing to do with the action of its two MLAs.

Danny Shaiza and BD Behring were among the five Naga MLAs who reportedly wrote to the Prime Minister to give his concurrence to the demand for schools to affiliate to NBSE.
