Imphal, November 09: Security forces conducted search operation at two different places this morning in its bid to rescue the young Lungnila Elizabeth from the clutches of her kidnappers, said sources.

A large security force team led by IG (L/O-1) A Romenkumar thoroughly combed the Kangchup area this morning at around 8 but without any result.

The combing operation was assisted by Imphal West SP and COs.

In the second search operation conducted this morning, a combined force team led by Imphal East SP Anish Dayal combed the Hodam Leirak and Top Leirak areas under Keishamthong kendra.

Commandos and IRB personnel also took part in the search operation, said the source.
