Imphal, September 22 2009: Protest over the Khwairamband fake encounter incident and the agitation demanding the resignation of CM Ibobi from his post, spearheaded by the Apunba Lup, continue in the state.

On Tuesday, sit-in-protest was held atWangoi Bazar which was jointly organised by Wangoi Apunba Meira Paibee Lup and Wangoi Bazar Vendors.

At Samurou Bazar another sit-in-protest was held under the joint aegis of the Samurou Meira paibi Apunba Nupee Lup and Bazar Vendors.

Apart from staging sit-in-protest, effigy of CM Ibobi was also burned at various localities in Kyamgei today.
