Imphal, January 09 2010: Five reputed English medium Christian missionary schools, namely St Joseph's School, Sangaiprou, Nirmalabas School, MG Avenue, Catholic School, Canchipur, St George School, Wangkhei and Christ Jyoti School, Mantripukhri will resume classes from Monday, January 11 .

A joint meeting of the authorities of the five schools today decided to reopen the schools from Monday and resume classes as usual.

A spokesperson of the missionary schools told this newspaper that over 80% of the syllabus had already been covered before the schools were closed in the second week of September last year due to the class boycott stir.
