Imphal, May 29 2010: Doubting genuinness of the so-called 'joint political party' that ridiculed Minister Y Erabot's recent visit to noney as a part of 'goodwill mission', Wangkhei Kendra Development Adhoc Committee opined that the body might have been floated by some elected legislators who were left red-faced by the boldness of Erabot.

Some ministerial colleagues of Erabot as well as party MLAs might have suffered a rude shock when the CAF&PD Minister led from the front in bringing several loaded trucks along NH-53 and to dilute the Minister's popularity the embarassed legislators through the unknown joint Political party attempted to put Erabot in bad light, said a Committee statement while demanding that functionaries, if any, of the said Party confirmed their existence.

apart from bringing much relief to the people who had been reeling under acute shortage of essential items, minister Erabot's determination to serve the people by encouraging stranded drivers to ply along NH-53 has also exposed cheap political gameplan and lust for contract works by certain individuals, alleged the Committee while appealing to the masses to stay alert as more such sinister gameplan to confuse the public cannot be ruled out.
