Delhi bound Muivah ready for next talk

Dimapur, July 15 2010: NSCN-IM leader Thuingaleng Muivah has left Dimapur today for New Delhi to hold the next round of talks.

Thuingaleng Muivah was accompanied by about ten NSCN-IM leaders to New Delhi.

Talking to media persons at the Dimapur airport this afternoon, Muivah said that he was extremely happy with the over whelming support he received during his "goodwill mission' in Nagaland recently.

Muivah had toured most parts of Nagaland in the last two months holding public meetings.

When asked by the scribes about the next round of talks, Thuingaleng Muivah clarified that no date has been fixed for the talks with the Government of India.

On his next venture after the talks, Muivah said that it all depends on the outcome of the talks.

He however, said that he will come back to Nagaland.

" I cannot be away from my people for so long," said Muivah.

Thuingaleng Muivah and his team left Dimapur at aound 4 pm today for New Delhi.

Meanwhile, sources informed that the next round of talks between the NSCN-IM leaders and the government of India will begin in the next couple of days.

The sources further said that the NSCN-IM general secretary will also meet political leaders in the national capital informally.
