Imphal, May 12 2010: Apunba Nupi Lup and Keithel Chaokhat Lup, Bishnupur today demonstrated against NSCN (IM) General Secretary Th Muivah's peoposed visit at Bishnupur Bazar today.

A large number of Bishnupur denizens, mostly womenfolk took out a protest rally from Bishnupur Bazar to Mini Secretariat.

The rally was culminated in a sit-in-protest.

Speakers at the demonstration flayed Central Government for giving green signal of visiting his birth place to the Naga rebel leader without consulting Manipur Government.

The speakers also observed that Muivah must not be allowed to enter the State.

Meanwhile, protesting Muivah's attempt to enter manipur a protest demonstration was held in Thoudam Imoinu Keithel in Thoubal district today.

Womenfolk of Kwakeithel Haorakchambi Leikai also took out a torch rally denouncing Muivah's visit tonight.

The rally was taken out upto Keishampat.

Sit-in-protest was also staged at Wangkhei Keithel Ashangbi.
