Imphal, October 02 2009: Screening of cinemas/films in halls in Imphal has been suspended from today.

The same will continue till October 8, informed the Film Forum Manipur today.

The decision to suspend the screening of films in the halls for one week was a part of call of demand for ending to the present chaotic situation in the state, expressed the statement of the forum signed by its general secretary, RK Chandrakumar.

On the same demand, the forum had suspended screening and all other works related with the cinema/film on September 15 and 16, the statement recalled and said that this time also all activities related with cinema/film under the forum will be suspended.
