Imphal, May 24 2010: All Tribal Disabled Union, Manipur (ATDUM) has appealed to all the people not to incite communal tension in the State.

Addressing a press conference in this connection at its Chingmeirong office here today, Union president Momo Tantanga observed that the ongoing conflict between those who are against and for the proposed visit of NSCN (IM) general secretary Th Muivah should restrain from inciting communal tension in Manipur.

Instead of that both the parties approached the Delhi for resolving the issue and the innocent public should be spared from the inconviniences.

In connection with the total economic blockade being imposed along the National Highways, Momo contended that no one has been trying to understand the reason behind it and castigating those who are imposing the blockade.

The blockade has been imposed against the shortcoming of the Government and so pressure should be exerted on the Government to resolve the issue, he opined.
