Imphal, October 04 2009: Apunba Lup - a conglomeration of various civil society organizations pearheading the ongoing agitation against the Khwairamband incident - has pledged to continue its agitation until the demands are achieved, according to a statement issued by the Working Committee of the Apunba Lup.

Apunba Lup has been demanding the ouster of Chief Minister O Ibobi from his post and punishment against the guilty police commandos involved in the killing of Ch Sanjit and Rabina.The WCAL statement has also expressed gratitude to the people for extending cooperation in its agitation.
