Tamenglong, May 29 2010: NPMHR, COPA, ZYF and ZSUM have joined other Naga bodies in condemning alleged high-handedness of State forces against the people of noney area in Tamenglong district.

These organisations have also asserted to enforced the ongoing total bandh that will continue till June 3 .

In connection with the incident local bodies have galvanised support of Tamenglong district people to gather at the accident spot.

Meanwhile, a reliable source said the diesel tanker turned turtle after a head-on collision with an empty truck escorted from Imphal side by a joint team of IRB and police commandos.

In the police firing six innocent persons suffered injuries, the source added.

on the otherhand, Zeliangrong front organisations have cautioned vehicle operators to stay away from NH-53 when the total bandh is in force as any untoward incident would be the responsibility of the defiant individual.
