Imphal, January 01: Member of AICC National Advisory Committee's OBC Department Cheekati Bhupal Goud has reviewed the programmes taken up by the State Government for the welfare of the OBCs, said a manipur Pradesh Congress Committee release issued by its media department today.

Goud, who paid a two day visit to Imphal recently met the chief Minister, MPs, PCC president, Minister of OBC, other Ministers, MLAs and Congress leaders to take stock of the welfare programmes of the OBCs in the state and gave details of the programmes to be taken up under the Central Government.

During his stay in the State capital, Goud also held discussions with the Chairman of the Department of the MPCC T subhash Singh regarding party's programmes for the welfare of the OBCs in the State.
