Imphal, January 11: Conveying concern over the prolonged detention of Muheni Martin and Hrinii Hubert kidnapped for ransom on December 14, many social organisations and church bodies have prayed for the safe release of the two innocent kids.

Saying that the kidnapping of the two innocent children was against humanity, the Kangpokpi Town Churches Fellowship (KTCF) prayed for the immediate release of the two kids without any condition.

While condemning in the strongest term the kidnapping of the two class III students of Don Bosco School Senapati, the Tangkhul Union Senapati pleaded the kidnappers to release the children safely.

The Union also pledged full cooperation in the attempt to find the two boys.

The Kuki Inpi Manipur also appealed for the safe release of the two kids while condemning the killing of Samulamlan village chief Hrekhupthang Kom.

KIM said that it would investigate into the killing of the village chief and would not spare the culprit.
