Imphal, May 23 2010: Continuing with the United Committee Manipur's (UCM) public movement against entry of NSCN (IM) General Secretary Thuingaleng Muivah into Manipur, public meetings were held at different places today and endorsed to resolution not to allow Muivah's visit to the State under any circumstances.

A protest rally was also taken out against the planned visit of Muivah by local club volunteers and Meira Paibis of Hiyanglam, Wabagai, Keirak and Lamjao.

A public meeting was held at Wabagai Higher Secondary School ground with UCM president Yumnamcha Dilipkumar as chief guest.

The meeting, besides endorsing the resolution not to allow Muivah's entry to Manipur, cautioned the Government of India to act in line with the pulse of the Manipuri people.

Protest sittings were also staged at different places.
