Imphal, February 07 2009: The hunger relay strike being organised by Sharmila Kanba Lup at Porompat PDA complex in pursuance of the demand for repealing Armed Forces Special Powers Act and save the life of Sharmila who has been fasting more than 8 years now over same demand completed 60 days today.

Members of Advance Women Society, Awang Sekmai and Luwangshangbam Matai Apunba Lup participated in the hunger relay strike today.

The president of Advance Women Society, Awang Sekmai Angom Shanti, secretary of Nupi Samaj Th Lamani and secretary of Luwangshangbam Matai Apunba Nupi Lup M Leima were among those who spoke as resource persons at the occasion.
