Lamka, September 24 2009: The Zou Sangnaupang Pawlpi, Ghq, today expressed shock at the ongoing class boycott stir launched by AMSU and appealed to the student body to retract its stand on the issue and make educational institutions a free zone; all these despite the fact that it too condemned the July 23 incident at BT Road incident.

A statement of the ZSP said the class boycott has led to innumerable loss for the students.

It also expresses concern over the fate of its members in Imphal in particular and the students' community in general.

Coverage and completion of syllabus, which has been a problem in due to bandhs and strikes would affect the students in toto, it added.
