Imphal, January 13: Taking grim note of unidentified persons kidnapping Muheni Martin and Hriini Hubert for ransom All Manipur Road Transport Drivers and Motor Workers' Union has fervently appealed to the captors to release the two children on humanity ground.

Meanwhile, referring to the arrest of one Guilung on January 10 in connection with the case of kidnapping Muheni Martin and Hriini Hubert, the Ireng (Puiluang) Sporting Youth Club has claimed that the suspect was first apprehended by members of the Club before the said individual was taken into custody by volunteers, IRB personnel and father of one of the missing boys.

Expressing anguish and condemnation over kidnapping of two innocent boys namely Rohini Martin and Hriini Hubert whose whereabouts have not been made since they have been abducted from Senapati district by unidentified persons on December 14 last, Kabui Mothers' Association (KAMA), Manipur has fervently appealed to the unknown kidnappers to release the children on humanitarian ground immediately.

Mothers could feel the pang of being separated the two children from their parents and other family members, KAMA president Kakomlunglu Kamei said in a statement.
