Imphal, October 08 2009: The protest movement launched against the July 23 Khwairamband killings under the stewardship of the Apunba Lup, the JACs and other organisations is continuing at different parts of the state.

As a part of the movement, Meira Paibis staged a protest sitting at Khagempalli Huidrom Leikai today.

The women protesters numbering around hundred put up placards and festoons which read as "Punish commandos involved in the Khwairamband killing", "Punish police officers condoning guilty commando personnel", "Chief Minister Ibobi, resign on moral ground", "Repeal AFSPA from Manipur", "Release all arrested Apunba Lup activists without any condition".
