Imphal, December 11 2009: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur submitted a memorandum to Governor Gurbachan Jagat to intervene into the row between State Government and agitating bodies in the aftermath of Khwairamband Bazar incident so that normal classes in educational institutions can be resumed.

Reminding that class boycott call was imposed by MSF, KSA and AMSU on September 9 last, the memorandum expressed worry on the academic future of the State students if the boycott continues further.
