Imphal, August 18: Hundreds of volunteers of Manipur Students' Assn, Delhi (MSAD) today morning took out a silent protest march in front of Parliament decrying 50 years of atrocities under AFSPA, 1958'.As the protestors marched toward the main gate of the Parliament, security personnel stopped them.

Afterward, representatives of MSAD went inside the Parliament and submitted a memorandum.

Later during the day, volunteers of MSAD distributed pamphlets written against AFSPA inside the Delhi metrotrain.

In the afternoon, a cycle rally was also taken out in and around Delhi University (North Campus) distributing pamphlets at various places including Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Law and Delhi School of Economics.
