Imphal, March 12: A huge public meeting attended by representatives of different voluntary organisations and two members of the Manipur Human Rights Commission today discussed at length the prevailing human rights violation in the State and adopted a number of resolutions to protect the rights of the people.

The meeting was held at the ground of Ideal Public School, Irong Chesaba.

In a statement, the presidium members of the meeting, said that after deliberating on the issue at hand, resolved that the different social organisations and civil societies of Manipur will join hands to fight the human rights violation perpetrated by the Central forces, State forces and armed groups as well.
