Imphal, September 03 2009: As a part of the ongoing mass movement against the July 23 Khwairamband fake encounter, students staged protest demonstrations at different places today.

Such demonstrations were staged at Brighter English Academy, Oinam; Bishnupur Public School, Ningthoukhong; PD English School, Ningthoukhong; Bal Bidya Mandir, Ningthoukhong and Gulap School, Keinou.

The students also shouted different slogans like "Resign, Chief Minister Okram Ibobi", "Punish guilty commandos", "Go back Governor" etc'.
