Imphal, August 31 2010: The Chandel district unit of Zou Students' Union while conveying congratulations to Lhukhosei Zou on being elected as the Chairman of Chandel Autonomous District Council has made a fervent appeal to civil society organisations of the district to 'maintain report' and consult other organisations before levelling charges against Government officials in the district.

This appeal has been made in the wake of Anal civil bodies questioning competency of SDO, Chakpikarong and subsequent clarifications by the Kuki Students' Organisation and Kuki chiefs' Association, Gunpi Block, said a ZSU release issued by its president Robert Heenlian.

Expressing that allegations and counter-charges would only lead to misunderstanding, administrative stagnation and social disharmony in the District, the Union suggested that rather than indulge in levelling charges against one another all concerned should strive for a mutual agreement to ensure amicable solution to any problem.

It also congratulated all the elected members of ADC, Chandel.
