Jiribum, February 13: In a one day awareness campaign on bird flu and poultry farming organised by the office of dy director Jiribum veterinary hospital on Feb 11 at Jiribum town hall, Jiribum SDC MR Shah and Jiribum Ningshingkhul adviser TP Luwang attended as the chief guest and functional president respectively.

The departmental resource persons delivered lectures on the control and prevention of bird flu which was followed by a deliberate discussion among the participants representing different walks of life, said a release of deputy director Jiribum vety hospital S Saroja devi, while adding that the team led by Dr K Gopal Singh also collected sera samples and carcasses of dead broiler for further examination.
