Imphal, July 27: Towards the education of the children of Laitonjam Rajkumar and Kshetrimayum Romio who lost their lives in the people's movement to safeguard the integrity of Manipur in the aftermath of the extension of cease-fire between the Government of India and NSCN (IM) without territorial limits, the All Manipur United Club's Organisation (AMUCO) has extended financial assistance.

AMUCO provided the financial aid during a simple function held at Kwakeithel office today with AMUCO president Yangsosong Koireng and AMESCO president LS Guite as presidium members.

L Gulshan, 11 year old son of martyr Laitonjam Rajkumar of Uripok Khaidem Leikai and 10 year old Ksh Goldie, daughter of martyr Kshetrimayum Romio of Singjamei Wangma Kshetri Leikai were given Rs 5000 each.
