Imphal, February 24: Taking strong exception to the inaction of the State Government regarding the kidnapping of two kids - Muheni Martin and Hrinii Hubert from Senapati, a meeting of the Core Committee on Two Missing Boys held on February 17 has resolved to launch total State-wide bandh from March 1 to 4 in case the State Government fails to fulfil its assurance to trace and book the culprits.

The Committee castigated the State Government asserting that nothing was done to affect the release of the kids all these days.

It also pleaded the Governor to help in rescuing the innocent kids from the hands of the kidnappers.

Informing that a FIR was filed with police, the Committee said that many kith and kin of the two kids are suffering from serious mental and physical ailments due to prolonged detention of the kids.
