Imphal, Aug 17: Condemning the bomb attack at the ISKCON temple yesterday, the Manipur Baptist Convention today dubbed the attack as a dastardly act and a challenge to humanity.

It should be condemned by one and all said Rev L Timothy Phaomei of MBC when contacted by The Sangai Express today.

The Movement for Tribal Peoples' Rights has also strongly condemned the bomb attack.

In a statement, MTPRM said that the bomb attack at a place of worship is an act of terrorism and shared the grief and pain of the bereaved families.

NNN adds : The Naga People's Movement for Human Right (NPMHR) today condemned blast at the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Imphal yesterday.

The Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) and Zeliangrong Student Union Imphal Valley (ZSUIV) also condemned the bomb attack at ISKCON as an act of terrorism and cowardice killing four person and injuring 50 other in the incident.

The ZSUM and ZSUIV condoled the bereaved family and prayed for early recovery of the injured.

"The govt should look into the incident seriously and compensate the victims", said the Zeliangrong students body.
