Kohima, September 14: Unidentified gunmen shot dead three persons including one non-local and two hardcore NSCN-K cadres in separate incidents in Kohima and Dimapur districts during the last 48 hours.

In an incident yesterday, Dimapur police recovered a body from Chathe River near Ekranipathar at around 7.45 am.

The victim identified identified as s/s SO Vito Chishi of NSCN-K was shot on the back of the head.

His eyes were blindfolded and hands tied behind.

The second body was also recovered near Delhi Public School, Dimapur on Friday night at around 11.The victim identified as S/S SO Hukato Achumi of NSCN-K was blindfolded and hands tied behind.

He was shot on the forehead, sources said.

Meanwhile, according to sources, the latest incident took place in Kohima, where a non-local teenager identified as Uttam Das (18), son of Late Gopal Das, of Rajagaon village under Nowgaon district, Assam and presently residing in D Block area in the State capital, was found murdered.

Police said that the victim was reportedly abducted last evening at around 4 from his place of work a Steel Fabrication in D Block area by some unidentified persons and never returned while police recovered the body bearing a bullet shot on the head this morning at around 6.30 am below Naga Hospital, Kohima.

Police also found an empty shell of 7.65 pistol from the spot.
