Four go missing

Imphal, June 11: In the aftermath of the slaying of 11 persons by armed persons on June 9 at Moreh, two contractors staying at Neelraj Hotel have gone missing since June 9.The proprietor of the hotel has filed a report to the police in this regard.

Moreover another trader has also gone missing, conveyed our correspondent.

The contractors who stayed at room no 101 of Nilraj and have gone missing are identified as O Arunkumar of Singjamei Okram Leikai and Kh Nayar of Takyel Khongban.

Another trader identified as Boicha of Mongsangei and RK Naobi, resident of Moreh ward no 9 have also gone missing after the incident.

Meanwhile, it is reported that two bunkers built to the east of Sunrise ground were discovered by a team of combined security force today late afternoon.

People in the border are now facing shortage of food, medicine and other essential commodities.

At the time of filing this report exchange of fire between security personnel and a UG group could be heard at the border town, reports our correspondent.
