Imphal, June 08 2010: A senior advocate of High Court has requested the DGP publicize all the pending cases against NSCN (IM) General Secretary, Th Muivah in the interest of the public.

In a representation submitted by senior advocate S Jayenta, a resident of Jailor Lane, Sega Road, Imphal to DGP, Y Joykumar on June 6 last, he recalled that Th Muivah who was born and brought up at Somdal village of Ukhrul district but he left home for the last 50 years with the reason best known to all.

As his intention to visit various places in the state including his birthplace Somdal and holds public meetings is also well known and there is apprehension of causing disharmony, riot, civil war, etc., it would be in the interest of the public to publicize the cases pending against him stating that he learnt from reliable sources that various anti-social crimes such Dacoiting, murder, extortion, kidnapping etc.

Apart from this, the people of the state have the right to know about the details of the said FIR cases pending against him, he added.
