Imphal, October 06: The resolutions of the people re-affirming their commitment to safeguard the territorial integrity of the State adopted during the public meeting held at THAU Ground on the occasion of 3rd Manipur Integrity and Solidarity Day on September 28 last has been sent to Indian President and Prime Minister yesterday.

Informing this in a press release, the Joint Committee of Apunba Manipur Kanba Ima Lup (AMKIL) and National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO) said that it has already started launching mass movement along with the people to thwart any attempt to disintegrate Manipur.

Taking serious note of the proposed visit of the leaders of the NSCN (I-M) to Tamenglong district on October 8, the Committee observed that it would be detrimental to the existing harmonious relationship among the people and so the State Government should take recourse to law in dealing with the visiting NSCN (I-M) leaders.
