The above cut off percentage shows the Top Ten College/Junior College in Pune and if any SC/ST and OBC students from other states want to take admission in Class XI (Science) in Top Ten College/Junior College need to score above 80%. To get admission in Commerce and Humanities (Arts) subject also need similar percentage like in Science Stream. If any of you (Parents) want to send your children to study in Pune in Junior College (for Class XI), you need to make sure that your ward gets not less than 70%. Secondly, all the Class XI students are compulsory to take Optional subject/language like Marathi, Hindi, German or French. There are 100 College/Junior Colleges in Pune but only 30 College/Jr Colleges have optional subject like German and French. To get admission in Pune for Class XI is becoming very difficult for the Reserve category students but the admission fee and other fees are almost 10 times cheaper than Delhi. However admission fees and other fees for Graduation and Post graduation in Pune is similar with Delhi University. I personally would like to suggest to all the PARENTS in North Eastern States that if your ward cannot get admission in Top Ten College in Pune or any other cities in India with 60%-70% in Class X (Ten) or 10+2, it is not worth to send your ward to study in average colleges in other cities. It is because the good college in own state is better than the average college in other city. Secondly your ward can get admission in good college in your own state with 60%-70%. Secondly the living expenditure is also will be cheaper studying in your own states. R.B.
