Houston (USA), Nov 3: The Kuki International Forum (KIF) Annual Conference
-cum- the first ever KUT celebration in the history of the Kuki people, the
traditional thanksgiving service, will be celebrated in the United States of
America. It has been for years that few individual Kukis have settled in
this great multi-ethnic country, however, KUT celebration had not been
materialized in the past.
The Kuki community from the 50 states of the North American continent
will converse at Houston City, Texas state on the 24th and 25th for this
special occasion. While the 24th November will be dedicated for the KIF Annual
Conference, the next day is readied for Chavang Kut celebration.
Pu Thenjang from Texas will grace the function as KUT PA, while Pu
Konkhogin presides the program as moderator.
Tentative program is as under;

9. Cultural Dance: (i) Kukis of Okalahoma State (ii) Kukis of Texas State
10. Fashion Parade & Miss Kut Contest will be led by Dr. Haokhongam & Pu Khaigin
11. Valedictory Words: Pu Nehginpao
12. Closing Ceremony: Rev. Thongkholun
13. KUT Feast will be provided by families of Dr. Pi Mang Tiak & Pi Lily Nengboi
Being a historic and important occasion for the Kukis, the KUT organizing
committee cordially invites the participation of all the Kukis around the
globe, if given a chance to stop by.
The event will be photographed and video-recorded, informed the KIF Information & Publicity Department
to Kukiforum News. We would like to see all participants of the day colored with traditional attires, informed Konkhogin.
With its annual conference getting closer, the KIF leadership welcomes any invaluable inputs from individuals and organizations from different
corners of the world to get tabled for deliberation. Any important issues for Forum attention should be conveyed prior to the commencement of the
