On August 11, 2009, around 15,000 peoples living in the international border area of Churachandpur, Manipur strongly condemned and protest against Manipur Govt deployment of state police commandos and Indian Reserve Battalion(IRB) at hill region.
People of Manipur do not have much confidence on thess two forces, after the July 23 BT Road Shoot-Out in a "fake encounter" in the heart of Imphal market.
