1st People's Day Observed at Jiribam Police Station on April 15 2017
After recent declaration by the Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh about the observation of people's day. The Jiribam police station observed the 1stpeople's day at the jiribam police station.
The observation was attended by distinguished luminaries of Jiribam from the various communities among them RK. Charles, SDPO of jiribam police station and S Maniton Singh, Principal RK Sanatombi Vidalaya School, Jiribam shared the dias.
At the introductory speech the SDPO of Jiribam Police station Rk. Charles said that the objectives of people's day observation was to build up good relation between public and polices activities and it will observed on 15th of every months from now onwards for the better co-operation of publics and he also said that what people expected from police and police also expected from the people to maintained law and order. Thereafter, On the public opinion S. Maniton Singh suggested a better relation between public and police is needed to maintain law and order.
