Ahead of the Prime Minister of India and congress leader Sonia Gandhi inauguration of the City Convention Centre, a bomb blasted at Palace gate on 30 November 2011 morning at around 11.05 am. The bomb blasted in front of Manipur Sangai Tourism Festival Main gate. An unknown rickshaw puller who was transporting parcel inside Manipur tourism festival around 100 metres distance, was injured with both leg lost as well as two women security person were injured.
