As a continuation of the preventive measures in connection with the ensuing Republic Day Celebration, District Police Imphal East led by Addl SP (Ops) IE including Porompat PS, Narco and civil CDO personnel and WPCs conducted Cordon and Search (combing) Operation at Hatta Golapati - KR Lane stretch from 5.00 am to 7.15 am on 25 January 2019 .
In the operation, about 673 males and 382 females were verified out of which 60 males and 8 females without proper identity were detained and handed over to PRT PS for further verification.
