South Asian Tourists (27 from Thailand and 1 from Malaysia) on caravan and bikes crossed Imphal :: 22nd June 2013

Tourists on caravan and bikes crossed Imphal to long for their destination with the mood of establishing a friendly route that connects India and Thailand along with other south Asian Countries. The team of twenty-eight tourists makes the trip under the banner "Historical Friendship Caravan"

Started their mission to establish friendship with India through tourism, a team of twenty-seven tourists from Thailand and one from Malaysia took off their trip from Bangkok of Thailand on 17th June and reached Indian Territory on 21st June. The happy tourists reached Imphal this morning and left for their destination in India, Bhutan and Nepal. Basically the tourists being Buddhists target to visit the Buddhist pilgrimage in India and the same along the Himalayan ranges while at the same time aiming to establish a friendly route to India to promote economic advantage in future through trade and investments.

The team on three bikes and fifteen cars (caravan) reaches Guwahati tomorrow to head towards Kathmandu and to visit Varanasi, Bodhgaya while returning home to reach Maesot of Thailand on 13th July 2013.
